Interstate Billing Service Announces Team Member Promotions

Interstate Billing Service is pleased to announce the promotions of six team members whose leadership, experience, and commitment continue to strengthen the organization’s service to clients, customers, and internal teams.

These promotions reflect the depth of talent, experience, and leadership within Interstate Billing Service,” IBS President CJ Ryan said. “Randi, Erin, Tami, John, Dalila, and Mark each bring unique strengths to their roles, and their continued growth is a testament to their dedication to our clients, our team members, and the long-term success of IBS. We are proud to recognize their contributions and excited for the impact they will continue to make.

Randi Allen has been promoted to IBS Vice President – Credit. Allen joined Interstate Billing Service in April 2011, returning after beginning her career with IBS in 2001 as a Customer Service Representative. Over the years, she has served in Customer Service, Credit, and Administrative Support roles, building a well-rounded perspective of the business and a strong understanding of the needs of clients and customers.

Erin Hemm has been promoted to IBS Vice President – Customer Service. Hemm joined Interstate Billing Service in February 2012 as a Customer Service Representative. During her 12-year tenure, she has continued to grow as a leader, building strong relationships with her teams, clients, and customers while contributing to the sustainable infrastructure of the Customer Service function.

Tami Henderson has been promoted to IBS Assistant Vice President – Credit Risk. Henderson brings more than 20 years of experience with IBS, having built her career across Dealer Services and Credit, Client Relations and Experience, Client Administration, and Credit Risk. Through these roles, she has supported and led teams while developing a broad understanding of IBS operations and client needs. Henderson holds a degree in Art History.

John Baggett has been promoted to IBS Accounting Officer. Baggett joined the organization in October 2018 and brings a strong, business-minded foundation shaped by experience in family-owned operations and financial analysis. In his role, he supports the IBS team through financial planning and analysis, sales support, project management, and system administration. He has contributed more than $1 million in cumulative savings while helping ensure the integrity of financial reporting.

Dalila Chavez has been promoted to IBS Executive Administrative Officer. Since joining Bank Independent in 2012 as a Part-Time Teller in Hartselle, Chavez has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, including positions within the Payments department and executive support. She now serves as Executive Assistant to the IBS President, supporting executive leadership and the overall effectiveness of the Interstate Billing Service team. A recipient of the Bank Independent Team Player Award, Chavez is known for her professionalism, collaboration, and strong commitment to service.

Mark Dennis has been promoted to IBS IT Infrastructure Operations Officer. Dennis joined the organization in 2012 and has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, beginning as Network Engineer II and later serving as Senior Network Engineer before stepping into this leadership role. With more than 20 years of experience in information technology and financial services, Dennis supports secure and reliable infrastructure and operational functions for IBS. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Network Operations and Security from Western Governors University, along with multiple industry certifications.
